A Warm Welcome
Term 4, Week 3 – A warm welcome from new Cedar College Principal, Mr Tim Heading.
A Warm Welcome
As I write my first newsletter as Principal of Cedar College, I want to express my gratitude for the warm welcome I have received. The school assemblies, along with the commissioning service led by CityReach Church, were truly a blessing and encouragement as I begin my new role.
I feel blessed to be part of such a wonderful and supportive community. One of the highlights of my time so far has been meeting the students across both Primary and High School. I have been impressed by the friendliness and kindness they’ve shown as I have walked around the school grounds. It is clear to me that our students feel confident and at home at Cedar College – crucial foundations for learning. It also pleasingly demonstrates to me they are living out our vision for students to display love.
Although I haven’t had the opportunity to get to know our Year 12 students personally, I want to extend my best wishes as they embark on their final exams. We will be praying for peace, focus, and clarity during this pivotal time in their academic journey.
Striving to Finish Well
As we enter the final term of the year, I encourage us all to finish well. While beginnings are important, how we end the year is just as significant. Let’s continue to support and inspire each other towards excellence.
If you see me around the school yard and we haven’t yet met, please feel free to come up and say hello. I am looking forward to getting to know you all.
Warm regards,
Mr Tim Heading, Principal
