2010 Performance Data

Below is an excerpt from our current round of reporting. The data collated below was collected via survey of our staff, students and parents during the year in which survey was published. The complete 2010 Performance Report can be download from our website.

About Cedar College
Established in 1997, Cedar College is an R-12 Christian School in Northgate, South Australia. During the 2010 School Year the student enrolment peaked at 505. Of this number, 359 were enrolled in the Primary School and 146 were enrolled in the High School. A Co-Educational school, the percentage of male to female students enrolled at Cedar College during 2010 was 46% Male / 54% Female. Cedar College comprises of students from various nationalities and backgrounds, and caters for special-needs students through its internal CLIC program.

Cedar College exists to glorify God by training children to live, serve and work effectively in His world. This is achieved by encouraging a relationship with God, developing Christian attitudes and behaviours, and imparting the necessary knowledge and skills for today’s world.

Cedar College enjoys a range of different ethnic backgrounds amongst its teaching staff including Australian, Asian and New Zealand.

There are currently no Indigenous Australian staff at Cedar College.


The National Assessment Program
- Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLaN) assesses all students in Australian schools in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9.

TER (Tertiary Entrance Rank) 2010
Last year’s graduating students were a small cohort and there were many new students who joined the group in the later stages of High School. The results were pleasing and met teachers’ expectations.

In 2010, eight of the eleven students completed their SACE. The percentage is skewed due the small number of students studying at Year 12 level in 2010. The total number of students who have graduated over the three years has been 42. The spread of grades over these three years of Year 12 were as follows:

A : 9.8% B : 29.8% C : 37.0% D : 12.8% E : 9.8% N : 0.8%
