An Exciting Book Week Adventure - Book Week 2011

The Primary School students were walking like Egyptians, strutting their stuff to Peruvian pan pipes and parading to an Asian beat this year in the 2011 ‘One World Many Stories’ Book Week Parade.
The Junior Primary staff and students took the audience on a journey around the globe with international costumes from near and far, including Ireland, Japan and India. The Year 3 students looked out of this world in Sci-Fi dress which attracted lightsabers galore. The Year 4 classes travelled through time, dressing to an Ancient Civilizations theme featuring Roman and Egyptian dress. The Year 5 teachers were walking down the yellow brick road as characters from the Wizard of Oz, in keeping with their Fantasy theme. All our favourite Bible stories came alive for the Year 6 classes with Old Testament heroes, angels and disciples in the mix.
