Cedar College is dedicated...

> to Jesus Christ.
We recognise that embracing the Christian faith is an individual and personal matter.
At Cedar College, the Gospel message is central to our school mission, and all students are regularly encouraged to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

> to teaching God’s Word.
The Bible, central to the educational programme, is taught as curriculum and is integrated in all academic learning. It guides students to develop Christian character, attitudes and values, and is lived through the example of Christian teachers.

> to academic excellence.
We offer an academic course of study that surpasses state requirements and is committed to excellence in every aspect of learning. This provides students with the tools to meet the challenges of today’s world. Skilled staff, together with our Learning Assistance Programme, ensures that Cedar College meets the needs of students with varying academic abilities.

> to developing a biblical world view.
It is our goal to help students discover that God has an essential part in science, has ordered history, and has blessed us with literature, music, and athletic abilities. Through this understanding, students learn that Jesus Christ is Friend, Lord and Guide, both in the classroom and in the world that is before them.

This develops physical skills and wellbeing, and involvement in inter-school athletics helps to develop godly responses under the pressure of competition.

> to musical excellence,
by giving students the opportunity to express their love and dedication to God and training them in public performance and service.

> to parents/caregivers,
who recognise their responsibility to train and instruct children according to biblical principles.

> to students,
who desire to learn and grow under the instruction of the staff and administration.

> to staff,
who are committed to Christ, one another and the students under their care.
