Eighteen months after first breaking ground on the school site, the Cedar College Sports Centre was officially opened by the Hon. Kate Ellis MP (Federal Member for Adelaide).
The new Art Centre was also officially opened, and an exhibition of work was held to coincide with the opening. The artwork featured canvases which recorded the construction of the of the Sports Centre, and a series of free-standing ‘runners’ painted by the Year 9 students.
Food and Hospitality Centre
Two other new Cedar College facilities were officially opened this year. The Food and Hospitality Centre was visited by Kate Ellis MP and members of the Block Grant Authority, who inspected the newly completed kitchen and dining room facilities. Students are already enjoying the use of the new Hospitality Centre and the commercial grade appliances now available to them.
